Corporate Subscriptions: Outline
interlude offers a range of subscription packages to individuals and businesses, designed to help workers and businesses supercharge their productivity through the power of high-quality work breaks throughout the day.
We aim to ensure that our website, including the interlude platform, which is where you can access your user profile and the subscription content, is as stream-lined and accessible as possible. We appreciate how important it is for you and your employees to have high-quality work breaks, and so we have designed the website to ensure that you have access to, and can navigate through, the content as quickly and effectively as possible.
We offer ‘interlude business’ subscription packages to organisations who have 10 or more employees. Each member of your team will be granted individual access through their own profile to join the interlude platform.
At present we are offering all corporate clients the opportunity to join the platform for two months at reduced subscription fees per member. In exchange for cheaper access to the platform, each member of your team is to complete a baseline survey prior to joining interlude and two rounds of monthly feedback through our online survey, which are designed to each take no more than two minutes to complete. Prior to joining interlude, and at the end of the first and second months of use, we’ll send your users a link to a short survey for completion. Their feedback will help us to review and refine our service delivery.
In order to terminate the two-month trial and avoid entering a full-time paid subscription, you must give notice to terminate by no later than the 28th day of the first month. Simply send us an email and confirm that you would like to cancel your subscription and we will handle the rest.
If you’d like to stay with us following your trial (and we do hope that you will) you will be charged monthly in advance for the month ahead.
We appreciate that users’, your employees’, needs may change throughout the day and may differ from week to week. Content which is suitable for a user on a Monday morning, may not be suitable on a Friday afternoon. We have therefore categorised the breaks into the three streams, and these are dependent on how the user wants to feel. The interlude platform asks, ‘What kind of break do you need?’
Within each stream, the user can further narrow their preferences by duration and content. For example, a user can choose the ‘energy’ stream and then access a 30-minute low intensity workout, or a 15-minute high intensity workout.
As part of your employee’s subscription package, they can access all of the subscription content available on the interlude platform, the only limitation is in respect of the minutes available to them, which is determined by the subscription package you select for them. If your employees try to access content and have insufficient minutes available that day, they will not be able to gain access without you upgrading. We can increase or decrease the minutes available to your users – switching between our ‘interlude 30, ‘interlude 45’ and ‘interlude 60’ plans – simply and you will get the opportunity to discuss your package and the minutes being used at the end of your two-month trial and at any point during your full-time interlude subscription. You can contact us any time during the duration of your membership to switch plans, and we will make that change by no later than five business days after the request has been made.
It is our belief, backed up by science, that well-used work breaks increase productivity, health and wellbeing and in turn this improves your employees’ happiness in the workplace. Therefore, at the end of your trial and at each month during your full-time interlude subscription, you’ll be provided with a breakdown of key data. You’ll be able to see anonymised statistics relating to the usage of the platform by your team. We will support you to analyse this data so that you can best support your team. If you find that your team are running out of minutes each month and you want to increase the availability, we can arrange this for you.
We offer the following subscription packages via the interlude platform:
- interlude 30
- interlude 45
- interlude 60
The numbers next to each package set out the number of minutes that your employees can access the subscription content on the interlude platform each day. It is important to us that your employees get into the habit of accessing and using the content daily, as we feel that this will provide the most benefit. Therefore, minutes cannot be accumulated and rolled over. For example, if you choose to have an interlude 30 subscription, users can access the content on the interlude platform for 30 minutes each day. If by 11:59pm (in the country you are accessing the content) on a Monday, your employees have not used some or all of those minutes, the minutes will re-set at midnight and they will then have up until 11:59pm on the Tuesday to utilise the 30 minutes that day, until the minutes re-set again at midnight.
A user can schedule several interlude breaks throughout the day, subject to your chosen subscription package. For example, if you have purchased interlude 60 for each member of your team, they could access a 30-minute video in the morning, and then two 15-minute videos in the afternoon. It is up to the user how they allocate the minutes within their individual profile.
We know how important it is for each individual to utilise their weekend as they see fit, and this may include preparing for the week ahead. Therefore, whilst the interlude platform is primarily designed to support the working day, your employees can access their subscription content at the weekends too, it is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
At interlude, we consider the best way to utilise a subscription package is via the vitamin and painkiller approach:
- Vitamin – Schedule interlude breaks in advance to ensure that you are regularly accessing the content that you consider is most helpful to you;
- Painkiller – There are also times where users might feel the need a quick-fix, and so it is possible to browse and access content instantaneously.
To help you with the vitamin approach, and to ensure that your team don’t miss any prescheduled sessions, or pre-scheduled meetings, we have set up a calendar integration function on the interlude platform.
The interlude calendar integration function supports users to schedule interlude breaks in advance. Users can link their interlude calendar to Apple, iOS and Outlook calendars so that the scheduled interlude breaks appear within the most regularly used calendar. This can be used to great effect by a team if a team leader wants to lead by example and suggest that everyone schedules an interlude break mid-afternoon to boost productivity.
At interlude, we appreciate just how busy the day can get, and so it’s helpful to sync calendars to ensure that time is set aside to take those much-needed high-quality breaks.
At the time of purchasing a corporate subscription you will be allocated a dedicated account manager. The account manager will work with you and set up all of the individual profiles for your users so that they are ready for them to access. All you need to do is provide us with a list of names and email addresses and we’ll do the rest. We will send an email to each of your team to welcome them to the interlude platform and provide login details and information on how they can set up a password.
When you purchase a corporate subscription, you pay for the services in advance. Payment will be taken via Stripe on your monthly billing date. The billing date is set when you join. For example, if you join on the 5th January, the first payment will be taken on the 5th January, and subsequent payments will be taken on the 5th day of each month.
Our standard subscription prices for each person on your team are:
- Interlude 30 – £7.50
- Interlude 45 – £9.50
- Interlude 60 – £11
We do offer flexibility on these prices based on the number of users in your interlude subscription. Prices include VAT.
We may change the prices of our subscriptions. If we do, we will notify you via email, and provide you not less than 30 days’ notice before the changes come into effect. If you do not wish to continue with your subscription at the revised price, you can cancel your subscription by email, in accordance with the cancellation section within these terms. If you do not cancel your subscription within the 30-day notice period provided, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised price for your subscription, which will come into effect on the next billing date after the 30-day notice period has expired.
Changing subscription packages
At the end of your two-month trial and once monthly for full-time subscribers, you will be provided with data relating to the usage by your employees of the platform, including information such as breaks taken, most popular break categories, and any trends which arise from the team usage.
Needs may change over time, and so you can increase or decrease your subscription package i.e., you could opt to change from interlude 60 to interlude 45, and vice versa at any time during your interlude subscription. Any changes will take effect within five business days.
We appreciate that in line with your business needs, there may be times when you need to change the users who have access to the subscription, and you can do this by simply getting in touch with us to request those changes. Please note that we will endeavour to make the changes as quickly as possible, but it may take up to 72 hours for any changes to come into effect.
As a business, you may wonder, ‘What information will be available to a worker on their user profile?’
Users via a team or business subscription will have access to all the information a solo user has e.g., the subscription content available for access. However, users will not have any access to any payment information and prices for their subscription. Similarly, you will not have access to the individual dashboard of any employee.
Freezing subscription packages
At interlude, we appreciate that your needs and circumstances may change. We therefore provide you with the opportunity to freeze your subscription, up to a maximum period of four months during any 12-month period. During this time, your team will have access to their profiles on the interlude platform, but they will not be able to access any of the subscription content. During the subscription freeze, you will not be required to pay any subscription fees, and there are no additional charges for using this facility.
In order to freeze your subscription, you will need to provide us with not less than 30 days’ notice before you would like the subscription freeze to come into effect. Please notify us of your request via email or the contact form on our website. All requests to make any amendments to the tariff must be submitted via an authorised individual within the business. Should you wish to stop the freeze on your account early please contact us for support.
