How can I increase my productivity?
Wellbeing is fundamental to personal productivity. When we’re feeling happier and healthier, we’re much more likely to work better and enjoy the process.
The best way to improve your ability to be productive is to make sure you’re taking good care of yourself. Are you getting enough quality sleep? Are you drinking your recommended daily water intake? Are you regularly moving your body? Are you eating a balanced diet with lots of unprocessed foods that provide a nice, slow release of energy? These are all fundamental to being in a state of what we call true productivity.
The other key ingredient to this mix is regular breaks. As well as prioritising high-quality breaks throughout your working day, we also need to make sure we’re scheduling in bigger breaks, too. Be it a restful weekend, an even more restful bank holiday weekend or a much-needed trip away, we simply can’t deliver our best if we’re not building regular time off into our busy lives.
