What is a high-quality work break?
A high-quality break, or HQB, is an activity that takes the mind and often also the body away from work to put them in a rejuvenated state when you return to it.
HIIT, yoga, stretching, meditation, affirmations, art, writing and cooking – the eight categories of work breaks you’ll find in the interlude library – are all scientifically proven to be HQBs.
Of course, there are plenty of other forms of activity that qualify as HQBs.
