we want to make work days better
True productivity supercharges businesses and provides a mental, emotional and physical reward to people.
We’re helping our members find true productivity through the power of high-quality breaks.
we are those we want to help
Before interlude, we – Caitlin and Will, the founders of interlude – struggled with the symptoms of unproductivity.
Caitlin was experiencing a lack of focus and motivation at work, which was influencing the rest of her life; Will was suffering from burnout, which was also impacting his life away from work.

Sharing our experiences with friends, colleagues and each other, we soon understood that unproductivity was a systemic issue – one that manifests itself in a range of symptoms, from lacking focus to burnout. We call it the unproductivity spectrum.
Crucially, we learned that unproductivity not only impacts the economy and businesses, but also people.
In the always-on culture of the modern working world, where the boundaries between life and work are increasingly blurred, struggles at work are struggles in life.
Believing that happier, mentally healthier and well-rested people make better work and work better, we built interlude to help people find that state.
We believe work can be better, and we want to help.
